Currently we also have a few volunteer needs: 

Financial Audit Committee - Ideally a CPA, Bookkeeper or a financially minded parent to help audit and review our financial statements and reports.  2 non-board member volunteers needed.  

School Gardens Committee - Volunteer or group sponsor to maintain Lowery School Gardens.  Weekly or bi-weekly weeding and plant maintenance.  Lowery Gardens are used to enhance our curriculum.  **Wishlist - Master Gardener or Former Teacher Volunteer to help lead curriculum presentations.     

Lowery Dad's Program - We are looking for a committee to lead this program, including coming up with a name, setting up a schedule, and recruiting dads to portray a male presence in our school. We are looking for helpers in our Large Group Programs, Lunch Duty, Recess Duty, Hall Monitors, and other similar needs that arise throughout the year.  Time commitment can vary based on availability.  Please let me know if you are interested in helping out with this committee or volunteering at the school. 

All parents, grandparents, and legal guardians who volunteer in CFISD schools are asked to create a Volunteer Portal Account before showing up on campus to volunteer.  If you do not already have an account created, please create one here.    If you are not the parent, grandparent or legal guardian of a student enrolled at Lowery Elementary and you wish to volunteer, please apply to become a global volunteer here.
